Reflecting on starting Major Assignment #1, I was very lost with the assignment at first. I had no clue where to start or even what I was supposed to do. When working on MA1 there were many challenges that I came across. It was not easy working through the challenges. Pushing through the challenges was hard because I did not no what was expected from myself. The fact that it was my first college paper and a topic where I thought would be easy to write about but turned out to be really tough. Looking back I notice that even though I was not confident in myself I was still able to write quality work.
Looking back on Major Assignment #4 I found it to be a very interested assignment. I understand the reasoning behind assigning MA4, but I felt that it was rushed. When starting MA4 I had no idea of what I was going to do, especially since we had to do two genres with the same topic. The first step I took for doing this was figuring out what genre I wanted to do. In the end I found that doing an infographic can be easily sharable on social media. The other genre I chose was doing a training manual for a marketing team in a company. During my process I knew for both genres I wanted to have my audience being a company and the purpose is showing how social media can instrumentally use social media to promote a product/service. After looking at the work that I put into these genres I found that one can be shared on social media so companies can see it and the other can be a training manual for a marketing team within a company
Looking back on Major Assignment #3, I really enjoyed working with my group and our topic of velocity. Working in a group was really interesting. I have never work with a group to write a report, so it was all new to me. Each group member was really reliable and was really hands on with the project which was amazing. There we some challenges, but we as a group overcame them with ease. The prompt really grasped my attention when reading all of the different ideas that I could choose from. I loved that I was able to research something that impacts my everyday life and how I can use the platform, Twitter. I think my group and mines work really showed in our final report. We all work as a group to finish it on time and supported each other when one needed help.
Reflecting on my experience with Major Assignment #2, I was really impressed with how much I had to think about my literacy history. When starting my assignment, I knew that I want to talk about my seventh and eighth grade teacher Ms. Driggers and how she should me that I was able to find reading fun. Even though I had a good start with my rough draft, explaining to my audience that she was a very prominent literacy sponsor in the life, I wanted to give another example of one. I was thinking about how I started my literacy journey and I thought about my father giving my siblings and I a newspaper and having to read them and write about what we have read. I feel that I put in really good work into MA2 and it showed throughout the paper. I have learned throughout this assignment I have many different literacy histories and will have more sponsors throughout my whole life.

Within the link of MA2 below you will find my literacy history. My two literacy sponsors that I talked about is my father and my seventh and eighth grade English teacher, Ms. Driggers. I explained why they are considered as my sponsors.
Something that I will keep for the new project is the idea that Wendy’s took an opportunity to use social media to promote their product. I will be doing a infographic and a training manual. The infographic can be share throughout social media so companies see how it works. The training manual can be showed to marketing team members in companies to show them that social media can be a helpful tool.
The links below will take you to a PDF of a Infographic and a training manual. In the infographic and training manual you will find step on how Wendy’s used there social media resources to promote a product (go to MA3 to for more explanation on Wendy’s using social). Also you will find ways that companies can use social media to their advantage as an marketing to for products and services.
